More than just a classic Defender
LandyCampers operates two distinctive classic Land Rover Defenders, normally used for our award-winning camper hire adventures.
For commercial productions, Waffle and Fern can be supplied simply as characterful classic 4x4s, or transformed into complete adventure-camping sets with rooftop tents, furniture, kitchen equipment, fridge, off-grid power and selected outdoor gear.
That means a production can hire anything from a single clean Defender in shot to a ready-made outdoor basecamp around it.

Defender 90
Waffle
Compact, distinctive and full of character.
Waffle is our classic Defender 90 and works particularly well for fashion, editorial, outdoor, travel and lifestyle productions where a smaller classic 4x4 gives the scene a strong visual identity without dominating it.

Defender 110
Fern
A larger Defender with a much stronger expedition and basecamp presence.
Fern is our classic Defender 110, with more room, a larger visual footprint and a distinctive rooftop-camping configuration. It works particularly well for outdoor, family, travel, camping, luggage and equipment campaigns

Because Waffle and Fern are working adventure campers, we can provide an authentic outdoor setup around them rather than a collection of generic props.

Production information
Base: Essex, close to Stansted Airport and within easy reach of London, East Anglia and the South East.
Vehicles: Classic Defender 90 and Defender 110.
Configurations: Closed vehicle, rooftop-tent setup, full camping setup or both vehicles together.
Delivery: Available by arrangement.
Owner attendance: Available where required.
Static / driven use: Available subject to the requirements of the production and agreed vehicle/insurance arrangements.
Early calls / longer productions: Please include expected call and wrap times when enquiring.
Commercial shoots outside the South East: Absolutely possible where the project and logistics make sense.
